Then I found a recipe book written by Ron Douglas, named (conveniently) “America’s Secret Recipes”, that advertised the fact that the book held restaurant secrets and recipes that the billion dollar companies like KFC, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster and many others are trying to keep away from the public. Who doesn’t want to learn how to cook up a Pizza Hut house special huh? Yes, the book has it’s share of Pizza Recipes and deserts! Yeah, actually I always wanted to know how they make those exceptionally tasty Tiramisu cakes. Question by darcmouse99: Best Washington Appletini ever had used Tuaca, Apple Pucker & Vodka but lost the ratios bartender gave :(?
Every recipe I find says Crown Royal, Pucker & Cranberry Juice. I know it didnt have Cranberry Juice. I’ve seen several comments that Tuaca is the best way to make it, but no recipes. Pls help, I’m dying for one right now – rough day. Anybody? I’ve searched Dukuyper’s Website & even Tuaca’s website, and 30+ cocktail websites& googled every combo I could think of to no avail…anybody??
Anybody???? Surely there is somebody out there that knows how to make this. Maybe it does have Cranberry juice, but I didn’t think so-no bartender’s out there? I’ve had this question out for 4 days & not a single response. Come on guys, help! I’m having a party this weekend & have promised to serve these. Plus I really want to practice & want one! I’ve played around with it this week, but can’t get it to taste right.

Obviously I had thought of that & would even call them if I could remember the name of the place – that’s how good they were. ha! I wouldn’t have asked a huge group of random people if I could “go back & ask the bartender”
I looked on my bank statement & finally found the name of the place, Bonefish. I wish they had them in TX cause they have amazing food & drinks. It was in Jacksonville. It’s a steak & seafood grill & they also have one other drink that has a watermelon popsicle in it which I’d also love to know how to make. They called the other one a Washington Appletini & said it was the same as an Appletini, but you use Tuaca to make it a Washington. I’ve tried every combo & ratio I can come up with & just can’t get it right. I’ve ordered them several places here in TX & they just aren’t the same. Thank you so much for being a friendly Floridian & polite Yahoo answerer. I accept emails if you can find out anything.
