Rum Shrub Recipe

Ingredients

2 qt Rum

3 lb Sugar

1 pint (Cold) Water

6 parts Oranges

1 pint Orange Juice

Rum Shrub Directions

1. Pare oranges very thinly and place the rinds into a gallon jar. Add their juice, one pint of cold water, and close the jar. Stand for three days, stirring occasionally.

Serve Rum Shrub in a Beer Mug
