Beer takes its toll and I’m trying to really get in shape. I’m looking to switch to something else for a couple drinks when I’m out… I have no idea about the cal count in whiskey or other hard alcohol.
Fruity drinks are too sweet for me and light beer tastes like p!$ $ (no I’ve never had p!$ $ before – I’m guessing.)

Need to come up with a signature martini for my wedding…they only have three different types of vodka flavors- raspberry, orange, and vanilla. The drink must be four ingredients or less and I need to include a picture. 10 points best answer!
Ideally I want a teal color but with those three types of vodka only thats near impossible! Only one type of martini allowed to be the signature.

Entry from: Koh Phangan, Thailand Entry Title: “Beach bums!” Entry: “Happy New Year to everyone! We’ve been in Thailand for about 3weeks and have enjoyed a very relaxing time and a very different Christmas and New Year. We flew into Bangkok and had 2 nights staying on the famous Khao San Road – heaving with backpackers, street stalls and bars. Lots of tourists everywhere – a real contrast to India. We took a while to get over the jet lag but did have a quick look around the city; we’re waiting to explore it properly when mum and dad Loach join us in February. We made use of the river taxis, enjoyed our first Pad Thai and other delicious Thai food and braved the wierd Patpong area, with girly bars and scary shows, lady boys and all! A short flight and we arrive in Phuket for 1 night, very busy and the beaches crammed with sun loungers – we make it to a slightly quieter resort, Kata and paddle in the first of many crystal clear waters. One advantage of being in tourist town is Sami managed to watch a Liverpool game – unfortunately we lost to Man U! Oh dear. Next day we get a ferry to Phi Phi with lots of very young people (we’re getting old!) drinking beer and talking of their league tables of pulling girls! They invited Sami out, but instead I dragged him to the most secluded beach you could find …
