im very picky when it comes to drinking. i hate beer it always makes me throw up. i used to be a hard liqueur kind of girl but i cant drink the hard stuff straight anymore. i now prefer fruity girl drinks like orange rum and smoothie juice but unfortunately you cant buy it in canada. i haven’t really found anything else that i really like! anyone know a really good cheap fruity drink? or a kind of juice to mix with the coconut flavoured malibu rum???

So next month I am participating in a dinner party that involves three categories, a Children’s story, a ecosystem and an art movement. I am planning on making a martini and incorporating:
Hansel and Gretel
Forrest
Art Decco (1920′s art movement)
So, I want to use candied ginger to represent the gingerbread house, i can grind it to use on the rim, maybe some chocolate for the rim as well house in the story, mint can be used as the forest, and martini’s are art deco because it was 1920′s and cocktails were king. i would like to use gin or bourbon…do you know any drinks that may use these ingredients
